The bine to beer journey is almost complete. We have followed the hop from a seedling to brewery. It is now time to celebrate the delicious destination of this journey and the magic of beer.
Hop forward beers like the IPA have become the driving force behind the flavour awakening in the USA and now the rest of the world. The IPA is the perfect conduit for hop flavour and aroma expression. A solid, supportive and complementary stage is formed but the subtle use of pale and specialty malts, which gives a magnificent podium for the hops to shine on. You can dive into a glass of tropical fruits and citrus or walk along a resinous pine forest or bite into ripe stone fruit. The journey that hops take you on will entice and illicit such sensory pleasure that the rest of the world will just melt in away in a moment of pure ecstasy. This is the magic of hops and indeed beer.
The hop deploys its hidden treasure that have been curated by nature and the farmer. Essential oils are coaxed out and brought in a harmonious flavour journey by the artistry of the the brewer.
